Amazing sequel to one of the most shocking books of all time #Angel’sInferno is a worthy sequel to #FallingAngel, a speedy thriller with a shocking end. The genius of William Hjortsberg is that he’s oh-so-unpredictable and smashes your head against a brick wall at 100 miles per hour. In the last few pages, you hit the top-speed circuit unable to stop.
Yet a part of you is afraid because you never want the book to end. In this sequel, we have Harry Angel – the PI from New York chasing Satan to take revenge. His Paris adventures, near misses and planning, make wonderful reading. Bijou character – an older black voodoo woman is as interesting as Johny Favourite and Satan a.k.a. Cyrus. As Johnny remembers the past and his character transforms, the reader wonders, if this character deserves our sympathy and if we should still root for him.
I challenge you that you cannot second guess the author when it comes to the end. If you like occult and thrillers this is one deadly combo. Not to be missed book.

मैंने कहानी एक ही बार में ख़तम कर दी. कहानी बिना अवरोध के पानी की तरह आगे बढ़ती है और झरने की तरह गिरती हुई एक भॅवर में ले जाती है. हॉरर एक मुश्किल विद्या है, उसे खून-खराबे और अश्लीलता से बचाना और भी मुश्किल है. सिर्फ कुछ ही लेखक ऐसा कर पाते है. अमित खान एक बार फिर अपनी लेखनी का लोहा मनवाते है. कहते है कि कुछ कलाकारों पर देवी सरस्वती की कृपा बरसती है – यह कहानी पढ़कर तो मुझे यही बात याद आयी. पार्टीशन के बाद यह अमित खान द्वारा लिखी मेरी सबसे मनपसंद कहानी है. मुझे क्या पसंद नहींआया?
